The Triangular Trade Route was a trade between crops, goods and slaves. The picture in the bottom right corner should help explain what is shipped to where.
Where did they Trade?
They traded between america, the Caribbean, and Africa. They had certain items shipped to each location. Sugar was shipped to New England, goods were shipped to Africa and slaves were held captive and shipped to America. The goods were traded to the americans in exchanged for slaves.
The first step was to take goods and trade them for the african slaves. After they have traded the goods for the slaves, they would ship the slaves to the colonies. once they took the slaves off of the ships they would have to clean them because they had diseases on the boats and could not risk it getting into the food.
